Don't Miss These Argentina attractions
The Iguazu Falls are situated in the Parque Nacional Iguazu near Puerto Iguazu, these spectacular falls lie just east of the confluence of the Iguazu and Parana rivers. At least 5000 cubic meters of water per second plunge the 70m into the abyss below. Surrounding this beautiful falls is a park of pristine subtropical rainforest, with abundant wildlife and flora. When the sun is shining, the mist and spray of the falls creates many rainbows.
Parque Nacional Los Glaciares
The centerpiece of the conjunction of ice, rock and water known as the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares is the dynamic Moreno Glacier, one of the earth's most active ice fields. You can hear and observe the glacier safely from the many catwalks and platforms on the Península de Magallanes. There are numerous tours of the park available from El Calafate.
Puente del Inca
The Puente del Inca is one of Argentina's most striking attractions, it is situated about 2720m above sea level. It is a natural stone bridge spanning the Rio Mendoza. Underneath the bridge are rock walls and ruins of an old spa, that is stained yellow by the warm sulphurous thermal springs.
The La Boca is known as the birthplace of the tango, this one-time shipyard has a famous walkway, the Caminito. This is the place where tango dancers perform and artists exhibit their works.
San Telmo is Buenos Aires' oldest neighborhood, it has been restored nicely and contains some special architectural landmarks. This revitalized area is distinctly artistic, with antique shops, cafes, cobblestone streets and walkways and many artists and dancers.
Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes
This non-profit museum exhibits some significant works of the European masters from pre-Renaissance days to the present and a vast collection of the 19th- and 20th-century Argentine sculptures and paintings.
Galería Praxis Arte Internacional
This gallery was found in 1977, it organizes exhibitions, international events, biennials and auctions while promoting up-and-coming artists. This museum is stocked with an appreciable amount of renowned artist's work which are well appraised by international collectors.
