I'll bet even money that if you're going to travel to Greece you'll take the ferryboat. The majority of travelers I've met over the years from France, Germany, England and even the United States all tend to funnel down to the bottleneck of Southern Italy and take the Ferry from Brindisi to Corfu and beyond.
Berlin - Mass Transits for the Masses
When it comes to traveling in and around Berlin, it's important to know that the city is divided into an 'A' a 'B' and a 'C' sector. The ticket you purchase to ride the bus or rails can correspond to one, two or all three sectors. Look at your itinerary for each day and see where the majority of activities are located and then purchase an 'all day' ticket for those sectors. It's a lot cheaper than paying as you go. Prices will range from 5 to 7 euro. There are ticket machines at almost every bus stop and certainly at every underground stop.
Amsterdam - How Much is That Little Girlie in the Window?
It's been estimated that there are nearly 400 windows in Amsterdam's main Red Light District, known locally di Wallen (little walls). you'll notice the symbol of XXX. It doesn't mean what you think! Originally it stood for the three virtues of Compassion, Resolution, and Heroism. These days, well, let's just say the significance has changed.
