Sea fishing

Most fishing boats in the harbours of Denmark will take anglers out to sea for a reasonable charge. Or if you are in a large group, you can hire your own charter boat. Sea fishing tours are arranged throughout the whole year from all the major harbours. Note that a fishing license is obligatory in Denmark.

Fishing rights in streams and natural lakes are almost always private, but they are often let to local angling societies which issue day or week cards. A day card will generally cost anything from DKK 40 up to DKK 150, whereas a week card will cost you DKK 100 to DKK 350.
