Should I sue Oakley?

I'm bothered by this little thing called CONSCIENCE.

Oakley, USA is offering me some bucks and other stuff to settle my case against their product that injured my eye (http://www.emnme.com/oakley). I can not give you the details of the negotiation as they are protected by the Fed law...

Despite that the out-of-court offer is tempting, should I let them sell the product that I know can harm another consumer? Should I let it happen while I'm sitting somewhere enjoying the money that Oakley will give me just to shut up?

I would sue, after all, you were injured by their product and it is their repsonsibility to make restoration- also it amy set a precident for other 'injured parties' to use if they want to take their own action.

At least upir web site draws the public's attention to this bad design and that might lead to greater awareness.

What I dont want to happen is that people will fabricate the same scenario that would result to total meltdown of the company.

If I sue them there's a chance that part of the condition during ligation is that my site will be asked to be shut down just like what happened when we started with the negotiation. I'm already ready to face Oakley with a multi-million dollar lawsuit. This case in America is a big case and yes this is the only one in history so far and it is threating the entire Oakley line.

Why do you think Oakley is ready to pay a big fat retirement paycheck to me when they are not sure about the concequences.

However, I can not afford that people are not informed and are not taking proper action from their respective localities.

Anyway in EU, the law is protecting me for 3 years. I can delay for the time being so I can get more web presence and support from other people. When the support is stronger then I will face the battle.
