Famous Danes

Are there and famous sportsmen/women? Please name them and their field of expertise

Too bad the site is still so new and we don't yet have a more active membership.. cause sports ain't really my thing.. But I can think of one Dane that's cool

He really shook up the American football fans.. He is a kicker named Morten Andersen and he was just terrific.

He saved the New Orleans Saint's from a loosing game so many times I couldn't even count and broke records..He's also played for the Atlanta Falcons and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Well i know one---- Peter Schmeichal who played for Manchester United and Denmark.He was a great goalkeeper and won almost everything going in football.

His son has now took over the mantle and has signed for Manchester City---- i think.

Peter retired last year and is now a tv and radio pundit.

There are many Danes playing football in England but at the moment there are none nowhere near as good as Peter was.
